Deze cache bevindt zich op Landgoed Terwisscha dat ligt aan de rand van het Nationaal park Drents-Friese woud. Wist je dat het buurtschap Terwisscha vroeger maar heel klein was? In 1840 stond er zelfs maar één huis – waar maar liefst 18 mensen samenwoonden! Later groeide het uit tot zo’n 15 woningen. Klein maar fijn dus.
Je staat hier aan de rand van het Nationaal Park Drents-Friese Wold, één van de grootste en mooiste natuurgebieden van Nederland. Ruim 6000 hectare aan bos, heide, stuifzand en beekdalgraslanden vormen samen dit bijzondere park, dat sinds 2000 officieel de titel Nationaal Park draagt. Niet voor niets behoort het tot de belangrijkste natuurgebieden van Europa: daarom is het ook een Natura2000-gebied.
De cache zelf ligt op privéterrein, maar geen zorgen: de vriendelijke eigenaren hebben speciaal toestemming gegeven om hem te zoeken. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je niet verder het landgoed op mag dan nodig is.
Dit is een minimulti: dus je hoeft geen kilometerslange tocht te maken. Ideaal voor een korte pauze, een frisse neus of gewoon een klein avontuur tussendoor. 🌿

This special spot lies on the edge of the vast Drents-Friese Wold National Park.
Did you know that the hamlet of Terwisscha used to be very small? Back in 1840 there was only a single house – but no less than 18 people lived in it! Later it grew into about 15 houses. Small, but pleasantly lively.
Today you are standing at the edge of one of the largest and most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. With more than 6,000 hectares of forest, heathland, shifting sands and stream valley grasslands, the Drents-Friese Wold is a true paradise for nature lovers. Since 2000, this area has officially been designated a National Park, and it has also been recognized as a Natura2000 site. That means: nature of European top quality! 🌿✨
🔎 The cache itself is located on private property, but don’t worry: the friendly landowners have given permission to search for it. Please make sure not to enter the estate any further than necessary.
