Welcome to the Yelm Prarie Line Trail. This trail starts in Yelm and will eventually run 4.5 miles to Roy, and when completed is forecast be part of the larger Washington Cross-State trail system. You can learn more on the YPLT Facebook page. (link opens in new window)
This cache is hidden behind the large rock you can see as you approach, under some Scotch Broom. Scotch Broom and Spanish Broom are considered noxious weeds in WA, despite their beautiful yellow flowers that bloom all spring and into summer.
There is parking at the marked trail head, but you may also be able to park near GZ along the side of the road that parallels the trail.
