Welcome to the Fall Fest 2025 81 Grid Series
This series will offer a variety of DT ratings throughout Brantford and Brant County - be prepared for almost anything. They are being placed for GCAX1X1 Fall Fest 2025, but are not part of the GeoChallenge and are NOT challenge caches. Some will be park and grabs, while others will involve longer hikes or TOTTs. Please check the descriptions and attributes for each cache and do not attempt anything outside of your comfort zone. These caches are being placed to appeal to a wide variety of caching levels and abilities.
Meet the Mounties - CanThai!
Thousands and thousands of hours go into planning and executing a mega event. We really couldn't do it without our AMAZING team of Event Mounties, who take ownership of a portion of the event and allow us to run a ton of on-site games and activities for everyone to enjoy without needing to be in 10 places at once.
We want to take the opportunity to introduce Charles aka CanThai - our Camping Event Mountie! CanThai is an avid tag trader and will happily trade tags with you when you come find him in the camping section of the fairgrounds. Beyond being an avid tagger, CanThai has completed the Jasmer challenge 4 times, has completed his fizzy grid 19 times, has found caches in more than 30 countries, and owns more than 250 of his own geocaches.... that's one busy cacher!
CanThai will be overseeing all things camping during Fall Fest 2025, including the distribution of car hang tags and prize tickets. If you are looking for Charles, he will be camping on site A1 right beside the primary power box for the A, B and F campsites. Depending on when you arrive, he will come over to welcome you to the event and make sure you have what you need to have a great time. If he isn't around when you arrive (eg at 2:00am) - please do not wake him (or his wife) up at just to get your goodie bag - he will come see you in the morning.

The caches in this section of the trail are not designed to be impossible finds - most of the challenge of these caches is simply getting to GZ. They are not designed to have you spend hours looking fruitlessly in the woods. Check the hints for details if you're having trouble locating the find at GZ.
