We chose this place because it was the site of our very first milestone as an entire family. Back in March of 2014 Mrs. Kingsnu and I were here with our son on a High School band trip and our daughter was in college over 6,000 miles away in Washington D.C. On that day we claimed our 500th cache, a webcam at the Duke Statue. The 3 of us and another geocaching friend standing in front of the statue and our daughter saving the photo for us to use in our found it log. Today we are here for a celebration of sorts, see earlier this week Mrs. Kingsnu and I finished our 200 day quest to visit all 50 states and grab all 50 Cache Odyssey caches. We hope visitors and locals alike can stop in and visit, I am sure if prodded we will talk your ear off about how amazing this journey has been.
