Welcome to the Sixteenth +1/2 Annual CITO + Rochester's LBB.

Bags provided, please bring your own gloves
Rochester's second fall Litter Bit Better campaign is the week of October 4-12th, it's a good excuse to remind all of us to do some CITO. Plus partnering with LBB means they provide all bags, provide pick up, and disposal.
Where: Joyce Park
When: Monday October 6, 2025 from 1800-2000
Who: Environmental Cachers
What: A CITO for Mother Earth
Why: To pay if forward and clean up a Rochester City Park
How: We're celebrating that Rochester is holding its second fall Litter Bit Better event!

Bring your own gloves and beverage, also consider a flashlight/headlamp. We do have some water edge this time. We're responsible for the grass area, and into the woods, in a horizontal rectangular-ish area (the SE vertical rectangle tail extending south of the main park is not our section). We have 35.2 acres to clean up.
There's also one traditional geocache in the park you may wish to hunt while we clean, Joyce By Choice.
Through LBB, we'll provide the bags (separate ones for trash and recyclables), and arrange for pick-up and disposal of all the trash that you bring back to the parking area.
The waivers LBB requires will be present on a tailgate near parking waypoint #1 from 1800-1815; you must sign the waivers during this time. Sunset happens at 1841, so be prepared for it getting dark. Anyone under the age of 18 needs to have an adult present to sign for them as well. At 1930 we'll regroup in the dark at the north park entrance (parking area) to tell stories about the strangest things we found while doing CITO, brag about how much trash you managed to grab, etc. Note the coordinates of any trash that's too big or hazardous and bring those to the regroup at 1930, we can report them for the City to remove.
