Geocache Description:

Let's have some fun celebrating International Postcard Day in Red Deer.

This is a roofed in, open air location so please dress for the weather.  There are sheltered tables and benches available.

In your September 2 newsletter, there is some great information about preparing for the event.

Check out https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2025/09/fun-ways-to-celebrate-world-postcard-day/

Please bring a postcard - new, old, used, recycled materials, hand made, wood, cloth +++.  You get the idea - anything goes because it won't be mailed out.  Please add your very first cache with the date of your find and sign the card with your caching name.

5:30  The Drop Box will open to receive cards, sign the log book and visiting begins!

6:00  The postcards will be exchanged.  If you bring a card, you will get a card.  If you cache as a team of 2, and each want to bring a card, you can each pick a new one.  NOTE:  it is not necesary to bring a card to sign the log and claim the event.  Come for the fun!

6:30  Drop Box closes, event ends but you can stay and visit as long as you want.
