Welcome to Farnham and Connolly Memorial Park. I grew up not far from here and I never knew that there was a former airport right here at this park. I noticed a long trail right here and thought of putting some geocaches along the trail. At this very location, it was one end of a runway of the former Canton Airport. You may not physically see it at site, but looking at the satellite photos, you can see the former runway now be overgrown with vegetation. I hope you enjoy your walk along the trail.
The cache is small and please bring tweezers and bring your own pen.
This Park is open only during daytime (dawn to dusk).
