Welcome to the Fall Fest 2025 81 Grid Series
This series will offer a variety of DT ratings throughout Brantford and Brant County - be prepared for almost anything. They are being placed for GCAX1X1 Fall Fest 2025, but are not part of the GeoChallenge and are NOT challenge caches. Some will be park and grabs, while others will involve longer hikes or TOTTs. Please check the descriptions and attributes for each cache and do not attempt anything outside of your comfort zone. These caches are being placed to appeal to a wide variety of caching levels and abilities.
The cache IS located at the posted coordinates.
You are looking for a dark green bison tube hanging at the posted coordinated. You're going to need a tool (or two... and probably a friend) to retrieve this one. Please bring a pen to sign the log and replace as found.
The legend of bigguy14760 started the way most epic tales do—with a simple logbook and a container hidden just out of reach. Known across the geocaching world for his towering frame and bigger-than-life personality, he wasn’t just any cacher. He was the kind of player who could spot a nano on a guardrail from 50 paces, yet still get stumped by a cleverly hidden bison tube in a pine tree.
One summer morning, GPS in hand, he set out on what was rumored to be his toughest challenge yet: The Cache at the End of the Universe. The coordinates led him deep into the woods, past mud puddles, thorny brambles, and a suspiciously curious raccoon. But bigguy14760 was undeterred—he had solved tougher puzzles and conquered longer hikes.
Finally, after hours of searching, he spotted it: a container perched high in the branches of an ancient oak. For most cachers, it would have been impossible. But with his height, determination, and a little ingenuity, he managed to retrieve it, sign the log, and replace it exactly as found. Word quickly spread of his success, and the cache community buzzed: “If bigguy14760 could do it, maybe we all can.”
From that day on, his name became a legend in logbooks far and wide—proof that with a good sense of adventure (and maybe a little extra reach), no cache is truly out of bounds.
This story inspired this geocache hide... the story includes several hints you may need to find the cache (although there may also be several red herrings... Blame bigguy14760's favourite log-writing tool). In any case, your name MUST be in the logbook to claim the find here.
