This is a re-hide of my first cache, which unfortunately had to be archived after it was muggled and I could not replace it in time. However, with Siffren's help, I've been able to restore it in its original location. In the years that it was active, it brought me a lot of joy to see so many people logging it, especially first-time cachers. Since it is near the anniversary of the original cache's deactivation, I thought I would bring it back to life. My hope is that like a cactus, this cache will continue to survive again even after being neglected for a period of time! Hopefully you will enjoy finding it as much as we enjoyed making and hiding it (again).
Also, there are three wooden coins inside the cache for the first three finders to trade, if you feel like it.
Congratulations to WERDAVE for FTF (again)!
Original geocache description:
"This is my very first cache, and I'm excited to see if people enjoy it! A little while ago, I found a place not many people visit. It's at the corner of Mazone Drive and Cross Springs Drive, on a small hill by the Los Alamitos trail, and it's called the Cactus Trail. The trail has rocks to picnic and sit on next to a creek. There are planted cacti growing along the small trail and on a tree. I thought it was a great place to hide a geocache and highlight the area.
When you find the container, please be gentle with the cache, and please respect the nearby cacti. You will not have to touch, reach into, or go unreasonably near any cacti to retrieve the cache.
There are also small tradeables inside the cache. BYOP, please!
Since this is my very first geocache, if anything is damaged, misplaced, or doesn't follow the Geocaching Guidelines, please alert me. Happy hunting!
Congratulations to Chet13, DittosMom, Ullii, and WERDAVE for FTF!
