Welcome to the Fall Fest 2025 81 Grid Series
This series will offer a variety of DT ratings throughout Brantford and Brant County - be prepared for almost anything. They are being placed for GCAX1X1 Fall Fest 2025, but are not part of the GeoChallenge and are NOT challenge caches. Some will be park and grabs, while others will involve longer hikes or TOTTs. Please check the descriptions and attributes for each cache and do not attempt anything outside of your comfort zone. These caches are being placed to appeal to a wide variety of caching levels and abilities.
The cache IS located at the posted coordinates.
You're looking for a small twist top container that contains a log, a stamp, and some small trade items. Please note, the stamp is NOT a trade items and should remain in the cache. You will need to provide your own ink pad if you wish to use the stamp.
If you’ve ever felt like someone was watching you while out geocaching, don’t worry—it’s probably just a raccoon giving you the side-eye! These clever “masked bandits” are native to Canada and can be found just about everywhere from forests to city streets. With their nimble paws and curious noses, raccoons are the true night-shift workers of the animal world—always on the prowl for snacks (and maybe your lunch bag).
This letterbox hybrid celebrates our furry, ring-tailed friends. Just like a raccoon rummaging through a recycling bin, you’ll need to do a little digging (figuratively, of course!) to uncover the prize. Inside, you’ll find a special stamp—don’t take it away, but feel free to leave your own “paw print” in your notebook.
So sneak in quietly, keep your wits about you, and remember: geocachers and raccoons have a lot in common—we both love exploring hidden corners, can’t resist a good container, and sometimes get caught looking a little too sneaky. Good luck, and may you always be the one doing the cache-ing, not getting caught red-pawed!
