SJR 25 - 09 Wherigo Cache

This cache is on the St Joeseph River and somewhere between Hillsdale, Michigan and Litchfield, Michigan. This section of the St. Joe is more like a creek. It is very rustic and the early stages before turning into the big river that empties into Lake Michigan. You do need a kayak/floatation device to find this cache or you can choose to wade and river walk. Motors and inflatables not recommended. Be prepared to WALK YOUR BOAT in shallow areas, MULTIPLE TIMES, especially during late summer and dry seasons. Closed-toe water shoes heavily recommended.

Time of placement: Late August 2025

• Height at Nearest Gauging Station on St Joe River (35 miles down river): 2.82 feet
• Height at Nearby Gauging Station on Hog Creek: 1.40 feet
