Welcome to the Fall Fest 2025 81 Grid Series
This series will offer a variety of DT ratings throughout Brantford and Brant County - be prepared for almost anything. They are being placed for GCAX1X1 Fall Fest 2025, but are not part of the GeoChallenge and are NOT challenge caches. Some will be park and grabs, while others will involve longer hikes or TOTTs. Please check the descriptions and attributes for each cache and do not attempt anything outside of your comfort zone. These caches are being placed to appeal to a wide variety of caching levels and abilities.
The cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates. You will need to solve a puzzle to locate the container and sign the log.
The cache is a small peanut butter jar container, with a logbook and some small trade items inside. Please bring a writing instrument to sign the log, and replace as found.
The Puzzle:
Ontario is a land of big lakes, tall pines, quirky towns, and plenty of stories to tell. From legendary hockey heroes to tomato festivals, from cobblestone charm to northern wilderness, there’s no shortage of amazing places that make this province shine.
Now it’s time for a little armchair road trip! Buckle up as we take a virtual tour of some notable Ontario cities and towns. Along the way, you’ll be given a series of playful clues. Each one describes a different place — your mission is to figure out “What city am I?”.
Crack the riddles, jot down your answers, and follow the trail of clues to uncover the location of the final container. The adventure begins right here — let’s see how well you really know Ontario!
This town proudly calls itself the Ice Cream Capital of Canada, and each summer it lives up to the name with a famous festival.
It sits along Lake Erie, where sandy beaches bring visitors looking for a sweet escape.
I am also known as a hotspot for Friday the 13th, with bikers coming from far and wide to attend the festivities.
My population is about 6,000 people.
