Welcome to Lorquon Cemetery, another of those quaint little country cemeteries.
Lorquon was the name of a pastoral run taken up in 1851, which grew into a town of about 300 people at its peak in the early 1900s. It is thought that the name was derived from an Aboriginal word describing a crab hole or water hole.
