Date: Saturday, October 11th
Time: 9:45am - 11:00am
Parking: There should be plenty of parking in the lodge parking lot
This CITO event is to assist the members of the local lodge with their Adopt-a-Highway trash pick-up along SR 235. The lodge hosts an all-you-can-eat breakfast that is donation only and runs from 7:30am-9:30am if you want to come early and fill you belly before walking it off picking up trash with your fellow geocachers. The Adopt-a-Highway section is a 2 mile stretch going north from the lodge on SR 235.
We will meet at the lodge and disperse to nearby locations to save some walking distance.
The soccer field/community park area behind the lodge will also need to be cleaned so younger cachers can attend as well with adult supervision since younger cachers (under 18) are not permitted to be in the groups that go along the highway.
If you have any of the following, you could bring gloves, boots or good work shoes, pickup stick or grabber, hi-vis vest, or anything else (5-gallon bucket, etc.) that will help you in picking up trash and debris along the road. Trash bags will be provided by ODOT.
Wear light-colored clothing and a safety vest (if possible) at all times when working on the highway right-of-way.

Earn your 2025 Fall CITO Souvenir if you haven't already.
