A morning get-together, for an hour or more of chat, the sharing of ideas, the exchange of trackables, and anything else to do with our hobby.
The venue is Great Northern Classics. An unusual location, not far from the centre of Derby. There is parking onsite, once you have gone past the security barrier. In theory this costs £1.50 per hour, which isn't unreasonable, although while I have visited 3 times, it hasn't charged me at all.
Alternatively you can park in Russell Street, the next road on the right if you are coming out of Derby.
Once parked, enter the new frontage - this used to be a Rolls-Royce building - go up the stairs and into the mezzanine floor and the cafe is straight ahead of you.
There is no charge for entry and there are some interesting cars on show both on the mezzanine floor and down below.
There are also several old Rolls-Royce engines to look at.
As usual they do a range of breakfast items, see the menu, but no purchase is necessary.
All are welcome, regulars and newcomers alike. We are a friendly bunch and always ready to help with any questions.
Please post a 'will attend' so I can give the cafe an idea of numbers a few days before we arrive.
