Update: Es ist Sommer. Der Garten ist tagsüber geöffnet Di-So. Aber keine Bange. Der Cache bleibt 24/7 rund um die Uhr zugänglich. Der Garten muss jetzt nicht mehr betreten werden. ABER: Bitte wieder gut verstecken, so dass er nicht direkt entwendet wird.
Update: Summer is here. The community garden is open during the day Tue–Sun. But no worries — the cache remains accessible 24/7 around the clock. There is no longer any need to enter the garden to reach it. BUT: please hide it well again after logging so that it does not get taken immediately.
Vattenfall Stadtgarten – Neue Grünstraße
Versteckt in Berlin-Mitte, steckt hier auf ca. 500 m⊃2; ein echter Gemeinschaftsgarten voller Überraschungen. Seit 2016 darf dort jeder ohne Anmeldung und kostenlos pflanzen, relaxen oder die Mittagspause im Grünen genießen – inklusive Sandkasten, Bohnenzelt, Kräuterturm, Liegestühlen und Insekten-Ecken. Die Gartenhelfer:innen sorgen für Tipps, Geräte & gute Stimmung. Öffnungszeiten sind von Mai bis Oktober (Di–Fr 14–18 Uhr, Sa–So 12–18 Uhr, im Sommer teils bis 20 Uhr), montags Ruhetag. Workshops, Pflanzentausch & regelmäßige Gartensprechstunden inklusive – ideal für Entdecker und Gärtner-Neulinge!
Vattenfall Community Garden – Neue Grünstraße
Hidden in the heart of Berlin-Mitte, this 500 m⊃2; community garden has been open since 2016 and is full of surprises. Everyone is welcome – no registration or fees required – to plant, relax, or simply enjoy a green lunch break. You’ll find a kids’ sandbox, a climbing bean tent, a herb tower, deck chairs, and special spots for insects and biodiversity. Trained garden helpers are on site to give tips and provide tools.
The garden is open from May to October (Tue–Fri 2–6 pm, Sat–Sun 12–6 pm; in summer partly until 8 pm), Mondays closed. Regular workshops, plant swap events, and monthly garden consultations make this a lively and sustainable urban oasis – perfect for explorers and first-time gardeners alike!
