Idilična kolesarska in sprehajalna pot ob reki Kamniški Bistrici, znana tudi kot Zelena os, povezuje Kamnik preko Homškega hriba z Domžalami. Pot se vije po levem in desnem bregu reke ter ponuja številne kotičke za počitek, vadbo na prostem ali preprosto uživanje v čudovitih razgledih. Ob poti so postavljene tudi informativne table, ki razkrivajo zanimiva dejstva in zgodbe o reki.
Kamniška Bistrica izvira iz kraškega izvira v istoimenski dolini. Sprva se kot prava gorska reka pretaka skozi ozko dolino do Kamnika, nato pa svojo pot nadaljuje po ravnini Ljubljanske kotline, teče skozi Domžale in se pri Vidmu izliva v Savo.
Cycling and Walking Trail along the Kamniška Bistrica
The scenic cycling and walking trail along the Kamniška Bistrica River (also called the Green Axis) stretches from Kamnik, past Homec Hill, and all the way to Domžale. The route winds partly along the left and partly along the right bank of the river. Along the way, you’ll find plenty of spots to rest, try out outdoor fitness equipment, or simply enjoy the many beautiful views. Educational boards placed along the path also share interesting facts and stories about the river.
The Kamniška Bistrica originates from a karst spring in the Kamniška Bistrica Valley. At first, it flows through a narrow valley as a true mountain river, before reaching Kamnik. From there, it continues across the flat Ljubljana Basin, passing through Domžale, and finally joins the Sava River at Videm.

Der idyllische Rad- und Wanderweg entlang der Kamniška Bistrica, auch als Grüne Achse bekannt, verbindet Kamnik über den Homec-Hügel mit Domžale. Die Kamniška Bistrica entspringt einer Karstquelle im gleichnamigen Tal. Zunächst schlängelt sie sich als echter Gebirgsfluss durch eine enge Schlucht bis nach Kamnik. Danach setzt sie ihren Lauf durch die Ebene des Laibacher Beckens fort, passiert Domžale und mündet schließlich bei Videm in die Save.
