Activity: Enhancement planting

Let’s reschedule the planting event for Saturday, November 1st, 2025 in the morning.  All other details remain the same.  Please see below.

 

Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025 Saturday, November 1, 2025

Time: 12:00 am to 3:30 pm 9:30 am to 1:00 pm

Park: Aldergrove Regional Park

Meeting location: Blacktail Picnic Shelter (27240- 8th Avenue, Langley; N 49° 00.731′ W 122° 28.011′)

Details:  Meet at the Blacktail Picnic Shelter at 9:30 am.  From there, we’ll walk to the planting site located at N 49° 00.489′ W 122° 28.134′. Participants will be planting a vegetative buffer between the nature discovery loop and a future park trail.  The event will run rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the activity and weather.  Sturdy, closed-toed shoes are required.  Waterproof shoes or rubber boots are recommended.  Metro Vancouver will provide all the necessary tools (e.g. work gloves, shovels, etc.).  We’ll return to the Blacktail  Picnic Shelter for pizza lunch (~12:30 pm to 1:00 pm).
