Geocache Description:

Newly built city park with walking and bike paths. Make sure to check out the city and river view from the point.

(For the FTF: Small citrine crystal I personally mined from a cavern in Montana.) CONGRATULATIONS Scorpiored48 for FTF!

PLEASE READ RULES

1.Watch for muggles!

2. Please leave a trackable bug or coin if you are taking one so there will always be some for other players to discover.

3. Please make sure that you log any and all trackable tags you drop off or take. Remember these tags and coins belong to people who want them to stay in the game and allow you to move them along. It is frustrating for the TB owners and other players when the cache shows several trackables should be there but are not.

4. Do not keep the trackables for very long, keep them moving from cache to cache or find a TB Motel for them to stay in.

Small orange watertight plastic container. Have fun :)

About this specific area:

The Raccoon and Des Moines Rivers meet just south of downtown Des Moines, Iowa. This confluence is significant as it marks the point where the city's name originated and is a key feature of the downtown area, with developing parkland at the site. The rivers converge in Polk County, forming a vital part of the region's watershed.
