Puerto de Las Nieves es la salida al mar del municipio de Agaete al que pertenece, se ha convertido en un importante nudo de comunicaciones mediante su puerto donde un ferry conecta con alta frecuencia con Santa Cruz de Tenerife, pero además es una pequeña pero importante localidad turistica con varias playas de bolos y arena negra y multitud de bares y restaurantes.
Tiene un bonito paseo por sus muelles (viejo, ideal para una zambullida y el nuevo con buenas vistas, además del Paseo de los Poetas o paseo marítimo que te lleva hasta las piscinas naturales.
El viento es omnipresente gran parte del año, y eso la defiende de los calores, por lo que las temperaturas allí siempre son más suaves que en el entorno.
El caché está escondido en un punto que permite una bonita vista trasera de la Ermita con la "Cola del Dragón" al fondo, así como del Muelle Viejo, al final de la carretera.

Puerto de Las Nieves is the coastal gateway to the municipality of Agaete, to which it belongs. It has become an important transport hub thanks to its port, where a ferry connects frequently with Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is also a small but important tourist resort with several pebble and black sand beaches and a multitude of bars and restaurants.
It has a beautiful promenade along its quays (the old one, ideal for a dip, and the new one, with good views), as well as the Paseo de los Poetas or promenade that takes you to the natural pools.
The wind is omnipresent for much of the year, which protects it from the heat, so the temperatures there are always milder than in the surrounding area.
The cache is hidden in a spot that offers a beautiful view of the back of the chapel with the "Cola del Dragón" in the background, as well as the Old Quay at the end of the road.

Puerto de Las Nieves ist der Zugang zum Meer der Gemeinde Agaete, zu der es gehört. Es hat sich durch seinen Hafen, von dem aus eine Fähre in kurzen Abständen nach Santa Cruz de Tenerife fährt, zu einem wichtigen Verkehrsknotenpunkt entwickelt, ist aber auch ein kleiner, aber bedeutender Touristenort mit mehreren Kiesel- und Schwarzsandstränden und einer Vielzahl von Bars und Restaurants.
Es gibt eine schöne Promenade entlang der Kais (der alte Kai, ideal zum Baden, und der neue Kai mit schöner Aussicht) sowie den Paseo de los Poetas oder die Strandpromenade, die zu den natürlichen Schwimmbecken führt.
Der Wind weht fast das ganze Jahr über, was den Ort vor Hitze schützt, sodass die Temperaturen dort immer milder sind als in der Umgebung.
Der Cache ist an einem Ort versteckt, von dem aus man einen schönen Blick auf die Rückseite der Kapelle mit der „Cola del Dragón” im Hintergrund sowie auf den alten Kai am Ende der Straße hat.
