Welcome to the Fall Fest 2025 81 Grid Series
This series offers a variety of DT ratings throughout Brantford and Brant County—be prepared for almost anything. These caches are placed for GCAX1X1 Fall Fest 2025, but they are not part of the GeoChallenge and are NOT challenge caches. Some will be quick park-and-grabs, while others may involve longer hikes or TOTTs. Please check each cache’s description and attributes, and do not attempt anything beyond your comfort zone. These caches are designed to appeal to a wide variety of cachers of all levels.
The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You will need to solve a puzzle to locate the container and sign the log.
The cache is a lisa tube with only a logbook inside. Please bring a writing instrument to sign the log and replace the cache as you found it.
The Puzzle:
Canada is a country full of vibrant celebrations, from rodeos to comedy, music to culture. From the Calgary Stampede to Carnaval de Québec, from the Montreal Jazz Festival to Ottawa Winterlude, Canadians know how to throw an unforgettable event. Each festival has its own story, traditions, and unique flair that make it a must-see experience.
Now it’s time for a little armchair festival hopping! Buckle up as we explore some of Canada’s most famous and iconic events. Along the way, you’ll be given a series of clues. Each one describes a different Canadian event — your mission is to figure out “What event am I?”.
Crack the clues, jot down your answers, and follow the trail to uncover the location of the final container. The adventure begins here — let’s see how well you really know Canada’s festival scene!
I was first held in 1922 at Toronto’s Exhibition Place and have been an annual tradition ever since, except during wartime.
I am the world’s largest indoor agricultural and international equestrian competition.
Each November I feature livestock shows, world-class horse jumping, culinary demonstrations, and over 300,000 square feet of farm and food exhibits.
I draw more than 300,000 visitors from across Canada and around the world every year.
What am I?

Please Note: The caches in this FF25 series are located along the Grand River. You will require a boat to access these caches. In general, a T4 means you can paddle up to the cache in a kayak and sign the log without reaching or using a tool. A T4.5 cache means you can retrieve it from a canoe or kayak but you may need a grabber or reaching pole. A T5 cache means you need to get out of your boat to search for the cache, use teamwork to retrieve the cache, or climb a tree. Please do not do anything outside of your comfort zone and take all necessary precautions, including bringing all required safety gear with you, at all times.
A paid parking location and a free parking/launch location (along Front St in Onondaga) are waypointed.
