Je propose cet événement pour les 200 ans d'histoire ferroviaire, qui sera l'occasion pour les géocacheurs présents de raconter des anecdotes sur des caches plus ou moins liées aux trains, aux gares ou aux voies ferrées !
En 1825, la société Stockton & Darlington Railway a inauguré la première gare ferroviaire de passagers au monde le mardi 27 septembre – une étape importante qui a transformé le voyage à jamais. Les locomotives à vapeur transportaient des passagers et des marchandises à une vitesse sans précédent, déclenchant une révolution des transports qui reliait les villes, stimulait l'industrie et façonnait la Grande-Bretagne moderne.
Cet événement spécial SideTracked Railway 200 à “La gare du Verdon” fait partie d'une célébration nationale qui se déroulera du mercredi 24 au mardi 30 septembre 2025. Toutes les découvertes et cachettes de cet événement comptent dans vos statistiques SideTracked, et un badge de profil unique sera créé spécialement pour cet événement. Que l'emplacement choisi soit ancien, désaffecté, miniature ou encore animé aujourd'hui, il fait partie d'une histoire ferroviaire qui se prépare depuis 200 ans.
Nous sommes conscients qu'un bon nombre d'Anglais seront dans la région le jour de l'événement et nous espérons que certains pourront y assister. Plus important encore, nous espérons que les géocacheurs locaux seront libres de nous rejoindre.

We are aware a good number of English people will be in the area on the Event day and we hope some may attend. More impotantly we would hope local Geocachers are free to join us.
