This is my very first hidden cache, dreamed up during many late-night brainstorms (my own little “midnights”). I kept imagining where I might tuck it away and how to leave just enough of a clue to make the find fun.
The spot felt perfect because it’s near a Little Free Library—another place where curious seekers stumble upon surprises. Like the lyric that inspired the name Dear Reader, this cache is for anyone who loves a quiet adventure and the thrill of discovery. Bring a book to trade at the LFL!
Since this is my first hide and my 3 year old wanted to be involved too, I decided to keep it simple for the little ones. Can be a quick p&g, or a nice walk with a beautiful sunrise/sunset view, depending on how you're feeling 🫶
Editing to add: I just received my upgraded container so this is now marked as a "regular" size. Lots of space for toys, trinkets & travel bugs!
