I have driven this road many times and would glance over to my right (north) and blink. I was never sure what I saw. Tonight I had a driver and tonight we stopped, backed up and looked. Sure enough this is a barn quilt covering the window of what appears to be a closed down house. It's hung "on point" and over a window, I really don't know the story here. The quilt is light red, white and blue.
Tree limbs hide the quilt.
