Wrekin Havoc! (Shropshire) Traditional Geocache

This is the final in a set of seven caches in the “Road to the Wrekin” series.

The first 6 caches are just off the A518, which runs from Uttoxeter to Telford through Staffordshire and Shropshire.

This is a hard cache to find but with incredible views. The uploaded pictures will help you a lot.

Park at N52 40.713 W2 32.024 at the base of the Wrekin. Take the main path up to the summit and follow your GPS down the left bank.

For safety reasons you may feel it best for any children with you to remain on the path when you reach the final stretch.

Work your way down the side towards a fallen tree, the cache is a regular sized lock 'n' lock box in a camo bag, covered with leaves, down a hole by the base of a tree. See the pictures for it's situation.

Be careful if the ground is wet as it can get muddy and you may slip.

This cache will get harder in summer as the nettles, brambles and bracken grow back.

Take a camera with you for the great views!
