Geocache Description:

Saturday, October 4, 13:45-14:45

Fish Creek library (11161 Bonaventure Drive SE), room 14

I’m a longtime postcard collector (with thousands of cards in my stash) and a snail mail lover (I used to have over 50 pen pals worldwide), and I couldn’t resist hosting an event to celebrate the World postcard day and actually send a card or two. To make the event last longer, I thought we could make our own (post)cards.

I’ll bring the supplies needed to make a card, as well as stamps so all you need to do is get creative and know the address you're sending your card to.

The library room is booked till 3pm, and the crafting supplies will be available until the end of the event (2:45pm).

The room has 3 tables and 12 chairs, and the open ceiling. If more people join us, no worries — you’re welcome to stand, chat, and craft. It will just add to the lively atmosphere :)

October 4 is also the last day to get the World postcard day souvenir.
