11° Geocaching International Film Festival.

Il "GIFF" è un evento di corti cinematografici a tema, Geocaching,

in cui il pubblico è diretto protagonista.

Nato come parte del Geocaching Block Party del 2013 presso la sede centrale di Geocaching a Seattle.

Proiettato in un parco vicino, il primo evento del GIFF è stato un successo tra i partecipanti,

da allora è diventato un appuntamento mondiale ricorrente.

I film in visione sono realizzati in modo amatoriale dai giocatori stessi,

l’evento ha come scopo principale la visione dei cortometraggi finalisti del festival,

giudicati in precedenza da una giuria di Geocaching.com.

Ci troveremo il giorno 8 novembre pv, alle ore 15,30,

in Via Andrea Doria, 66, Roma,

presso il "Pub TB e B"

dove è possibile anche consumare merenda e cena chi lo gradisse.

Per chi volesse venire con i mezzi pubblici è comoda la Metro A

scendere alla fermata Cipro e percorrere 250 mt a piedi.

Parcheggio Libero nei giorni feriali orario 22,00-06.00 e festivo orario 00.00-24-00
Gratuito sempre per i possessori di Metrebus Card. 

Al momento dell'iscrizione vi preghiamo di comunicare il nr. di partecipanti per organizzare al meglio il festival.

Alla fine della proiezione, si effettuerà la votazione dei filmati,

il cui risultato verrà comunicato al regista vincente,

risultato del tutto ininfluente ai fini della classifica finale,

ma sicuramente apprezzato dal filmaker.

ATTENZIONE:

durante la pausa, a metà circa della proiezione,

verrà effettuato un gioco del tipo "Mercante in Fiera",

ma in stile geocaching.

Per partecipare sarà necessario portare un piccolo dono, debitamente impacchettato, delle dimensioni di un pugno al massimo, lasciatevi ispirare dalla vostra fantasia, qualsiasi cosa: una cache, una ciocolata, una saponetta, un sasso, e bello o brutto che sia, ci sarà da divertirsi.

Questi saranno i premi estratti e come si dice a Roma: "a chi tocca nun se 'ngrugna..."

are pleased to invite you to the 11th Geocaching International Film Festival.

The "GIFF" is a geocaching-themed short film festival where the audience is the protagonist.

It began as part of the 2013 Geocaching Block Party at Geocaching Headquarters in Seattle.

Screened in a nearby park, the first GIFF event was a success with attendees and has since become a recurring global event.

The films shown are amateur films made by the players themselves; the main purpose of the event is to screen the festival's finalist short films, previously judged by a Geocaching.com jury.

We will meet on November 8th at 3:30 PM at Via Andrea Doria, 66, Rome, at the "Pub TB e B," where snacks and dinner are also available.

For those arriving by public transportation, the Metro A line is convenient: Get off at the Cipro stop and walk 250 meters.

Free parking on weekdays from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and on holidays from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Always free for Metrebus Card holders.

When registering, please provide the number of participants to best organize the festival.

Dress Code: Wear something silver

At the end of the screening, the films will be voted on, and the results will be communicated to the winning director.

This result has no bearing on the final ranking, but is certainly appreciated.

PLEASE NOTE:

During the break, about halfway through the screening, a "Merchant at the Fair"-style game will be played, but geocaching-style.

To participate, you'll need to bring a small, carefully wrapped gift, no larger than a fist. Let your imagination run wild—anything: a cache, a chocolate bar, a bar of soap, a rock—and whether it's beautiful or ugly, it'll be fun.

These will be the prizes drawn.
