ARE YOU READY!?!?! It's time to DROP THE PUCK on another traditional outing of the TSG! On Saturday December 13, The Tri-State Geocachers are sponsoring another hockey-themed, outdoor meet and greet event here in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton - this one will be held outside of Grotto's Pizza. As the temps are getting colder, hockey is just heating up, so this is the perfect time and place for a little geo-fun with a hockey theme.
The WBS Penguins have again offered us swag to run another fun activity like the ones we've held with our WBS Penguins hockey theme. So here's the plan:
we'll gather at the posted event coordinates from 4:30 - 5:00pm
. There will be the usual sign-in and geochat. Then, we'll have a some geo-social activity, along with a GAME of our own where you could win some cool, hockey-themed prizes provided by the Penguins themselves! And, all of this is
FREE - no need to purchase anything to participate in this event, but this NEW LOCATION for this event offers the possibility of getting good local pizza for eat-in or take-out. Plan ahead if you want to order because our event is outside and for only 30 minutes.
We'll also pose for our group photo - so if you can, come dressed in your best hockey garb!
