A quick SideTracked cache-and-dash beside the Snowdon Mountain Railway (SMR) station in Llanberis - the starting point of the heritage train line that carries passengers to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain, Yr Wyddfa.
The SMR is the UK’s only rack-and-pinion railway, opened to entice holiday makers back to Llanberis after many began heading to Rhyd Ddu and Beddgelert to start their climb up Snowdon. Today, Llanberis is once again the most popular starting point for tourists making their way to the top.
