Fântâna lui Mihai Viteazul, situată în satul Ciuta (comuna Măgura, județul Buzău), este un monument ridicat la 375 de ani de la trecerea domnitorului pe valea Buzăului, în drumul său spre Transilvania (1599). Construită din beton și placată cu calcar cochilifer, are circa 15 metri lungime și marchează locul unde oștile lui Mihai au poposit o noapte. Opera sculptorului Gheorghe Coman, fântâna este monument istoric și unul dintre reperele Drumului Cramelor, între Ciuta și Pietroasele. Deși prevăzută cu jgheaburi și ciuciur, nu a fost niciodată funcțională.

The Fountain of Mihai Viteazul, located in the village of Ciuta (Măgura commune, Buzău County), is a monument erected 375 years after the ruler’s passage through the Buzău Valley on his way to Transylvania (1599). Built of concrete and clad with shell limestone, it measures about 15 meters in length and marks the place where Michael’s army camped for one night. Created by sculptor Gheorghe Coman, the fountain is a historic monument and one of the landmarks of the Wine Route, stretching between Ciuta and Pietroasele. Although equipped with troughs and a spout, the fountain has never been functional.
