10th Trail CITO EVENT Cache In Trash Out® Event

This year will be the 10TH TRAIL CITO EVENT of the 16th Annual Bike Trail Weekend.

WHERE: Big Parking lot at start of trail @ the posted coordinates

Stop by to sign the log book and pick up a trash bag or 2. You can CITO all day on the trail or join us in the parking area during the event to pick up trash. There has never been a shortage of trash at this parking area.

For our 16th year we are planning this CITO event along with our annual event. We would love to have you join us in helping to clean up this area of the bike/walk trail. Spend the day on the trail caching all the caches and picking up trash along the way. Make a true cache in trash out day. Just like all other years TRANSPORTATION will be provided for an extended period of time. See the main event page for more details.  There will be a few new caches along the way for you to enjoy if you are returning. The current caches along the trail, range from easy to find, to difficult to find, with some challenging terrain mixed in. This is not a power trail where all the caches are the same, expect variety. For this event the terrain is wheel chair accessible but based on where you go to pick up trash and cache it could go much higher.

CITO INFO:

• We will have trash bags for everyone
• You might want to bring a pair of gloves
• One of those grabber things will be helpful as well
• A group picture will be taken at the end of the event

I took this after the CITO but then later in the day I brought back some more trash that was collected else where. The pile got even bigger when it was all said and done.
