This geocache is placed on the edge of Leonard Gordon Park in Jersey City, which is locally known as Mosquito Park for the hordes of mosquitos that have in the past swarmed up from the Meadowlands. Following a recent renovation, the walking paths are in much better shape but it retains its "Jersey City of Yesteryear" feel with a run-down playground, crumbling bear and buffalo statues, and decrepit gazebo.
This geocache is hidden among the rocks on the Manhattan Avenue side of the park. It seems to be at once a deserted but highly traveled area. Keep an eye out for muggles.
