MRT Muzium Negara

An underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Kuala Lumpur for MRT Kajang Line. It was built under Jalan Damansara and in front National Museum which give the staion name. It is situated near Kuala Lumpur Sentral but the station is not part of the complex. Though it is connected by a 240 m covered walkway. Due to this distance, the planned named, Which is " KL Sentral Station", is not adopted.

The station has 3 Entrances/ Exits. Entrance A is at the south side of Jalan Damansara which directly infornt of Menara CIMB. Entrances B is at the north side of Jalan Damansara which open up directly infront of National Museum. Entrance C is the linkway to KL Sentral. This linkway connectes the MRT Kajang LIne with KTM Batu Caves-Pulau Sebang Line, KTM Tanjung Malim-Port Klang Line, LRT Kelana Jaya Line, KLIA Express, ERL KLIA Transit and KTM Skypark Link. With connection to nearby NU Sentral, MRT Muzium Negara also is connected, while not part of KL Sentral complex, KL Monorail LIne. The linkway connecting MRT Muzium Negara station and KL Sentral is considered as paid area. If traveller from KL Sentral want to vist the National Museum without passing through the paid area, they need to use the linkway to Q Sentral. Exit at the Lower Ground and enter the Entrance A of MRT Muzium Negara Staion to exit at Entrance B.

The station Above-ground Entrance are design based on the quartz crystal found at Bukit Tabur quartz range. The station interior have the theme of History of Public Transportation in Kuala Lumpur in light of its proximity to The National Museum

Getting There

Preferably, any finder could reach the cache using MRT as it is a SideTracked cache. Nonetheless, They could also drive to the National Museum and park at the available parking lot to reach this cache. Although its proximate is near to the National Museum, it is not influence by the closing time of the Museum.
