We have made this a virtual cache because it is impossible (and unsafe) to hide anything here. Also we needed a cache for PC Bob to visit on his Philippine's visit.
We hope that this cache will encourage Geocachers to make a visit to Northern Luzon. Be prepared for many traffic hold-ups and always allow extra time for travel. You will need to allow about 14 hours from Manila and it would be a good idea to break the journey into 2 or 3 days. There are several interesting places to visit enroute.
Some interesting places: Mt Pinatubo, Tarlac Urdaneta, 100 Islands Resort (add 2-3 hrs), Baguio City ( add 4-5 hrs) Vigan - great hisorical interest.
