Let's start off the month planting some trees, shrubs, and other ground cover at the Kubota Garden, a well-known Japanese garden that is now almost 100 years old. This CITO is being hosted with the Green Seattle Partnership and EarthCorps, who will be providing tools to all who register for the event on the GSP website. (Side-note: when registering on the site, feel free to note that you are with a group of geocachers).
EarthCorps will be providing snacks and beverages, but feel free to bring your own as well. Also, it is not clear whether we will be planting in the gardens themselves or in the neighboring "urban forest", but I would expect the latter.
Let's meet at the posted coordinates at 9:45 for geo-chat and optionally signing the event log, before moving over to the listed waypoint where we can get tools and refreshments and start working.
This event is an all-ages event, but attendees under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign this form. Please bring it to the event with you or you will not be able to participate.
