CACHE NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES
Heh… well, well… looks like someone decided to honor Silvers Rayleigh and us Pirates with a little game across the Mid-Atlantic's great blue. A Geocaching Letterbox Series, no less. Flattered? Perhaps. Entertained? Definitely.
Now, I won’t lie—I haven’t solved the whole puzzle myself. But I did notice a certain stiff-collared team—World Government types and their pompous Celestial Dragon spawn—trying to snatch the prize. Naturally, I couldn’t resist a little mischief. I left a cache of my own, just so you could get to know me… a bit better.
See that D on the map? That’s the Will of D. A symbol of those who make waves in the world. Click each one, and you’ll discover the people who actually make this adventure worth the trouble.
My personal cache, you ask? Hah… it’s a sly one. A silver bison tube, fastened high in a tree that leans boldly over the Patuxent’s western bank. I’ll admit, it took a steady hand—I had to rise in my boat to place it. But my balance has not dulled with age, and the river spared me a soaking. Consider it both a test of reach and of nerve.
Follow the link, download the Play Anywhere Wherigo, answer the three questions… and the final coordinates will be yours.
Remember, the fun isn’t just in the treasure. It’s in the chase, the cleverness, and the little lessons you pick up along the way. Consider it my way of giving you a taste of the sea… and a wink from an old pirate who’s seen it all.
