2025 Fall Roadside Cleanup

WHAT: The NorthStar GeoSeekers have an "Adopt a Highway" section of U.S. Hwy 71 between Park Rapids and Menagha (since 2012). We pick up trash along a 1 mile stretch of the highway. We clean both sides of the road for a total walking distance of 2 miles.

WHEN: Saturday, October 18, 2025

TIME: 10:00AM start. We should finish around 12:00

We are planning to go to breakfast at West 40 at 9:00 AM and would like for everyone planning to attend to join us. We should probably make reservations, so please try to let me know if you plan to attend the breakfast. If not, see you in the ditch!

OTHER STUFF:
Parking is available near the starting point.
Gloves, safety vests and trash bags will be provided.
All participants must review the safety information provided by MnDOT before every pickup.
Participants must be at least 12 years old unless specifically permitted.
Participants 18 years old or younger must have adequate adult supervision.
