EN: This series of caches was inspired by ‘Lord of the Rings’ – a masterpiece that I took from the shelf in the public library some 30 years ago, and was enamored by ever since. I want you to take a walk along with the Fellowship of the Ring and get acquainted with some of the most important places in the Middle Earth where the story takes place. You could also enjoy some of the classic illustrations by Alan Lee and Ted Nasmith. Have fun!

EN: The Anduin, also called the Great River, was the mightiest river in Middle-earth. It began as a trickle from the snows of the Grey Mountains and grew into a wide, powerful current as it flowed south. Along its course, it passed through many lands: the Vales of Anduin, the borders of Lothlórien, and the Argonath with its towering statues. The river was both a boundary and a lifeline, used for travel but also feared for its strength and shifting moods. Its waters carried legends of Elves, Men, and ancient times, reflecting both beauty and peril on its surface.
