It has gotten more and more difficult to book the large room at the library in the evenings for any date on which I can actually attend. I am therefore moving some of the Puzzling Puzzler events to daytime. I will still endeavor to hold about half of them in the evening--when I can get a room (November was also impossible!), as I know there are people who work who want to attend! The daytime puzzle meetings will focus on advanced puzzle solving.
Bring your most hair-tearing-cannot-solve-this-thing puzzles and we'll take a group whack at them. Bring your laptop if possible; some puzzles don't solve very well on phones or tablets. If you have an idea for a puzzle type I should cover in future (or one we already covered but should review), or if you would like to take a turn at the podium, as fishercacher did for us recently with great success, please let me know! All ideas welcome!
I know that we in CVGA are very casual about posting "will attend" notes for events; however, I do provide goodies for everyone present, so please do post your intention to attend so that I know how much to bring!
AFTER the event, I will be having LUNCH at Franco's Italian Restaurant at 9010 Staples Mill Rd, Henrico, VA 23228. You are free to join me if you can! The lunch is not part of the event, and you are welcome to attend either or both. If you are coming to lunch, do please let me know, either in your "will attend" note or via message, as the restaurant has a small staff. There is plenty of room for us, but we need to let them know a big group is coming. Thanks!
