GIFF 2025! "TFTC - Thanks For The Community"
WHERE: Wickham Scout HQ, Mill Lane, Wickham, PO17 5AL
WHEN: Sunday, 16 November 2025, 2pm - 4pm
Come along and watch assorted movies about your favourite hobby - GEOCACHING!
Screening will start promptly at 2.30pm and will last approximately one hour.
All welcome. Refreshments will be available - tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash, biscuits, cake, and (possibly) popcorn!
No charge for this event, however any small donations to support two of our Scouts attending the World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027 would be happily received.
The venue is fully accessible with plenty of seating and a large screen. Lots of parking outside.

Geocaching is a fun outdoor adventuring hobby for the whole family, using GPS coordinates to seek hidden containers, called "geocaches." On a semi-regular basis, geocachers from around the world create short films themed around their favorite hobby as part of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF), and Groundspeak, the company responsible for overseeing geocaching, selects a set of the best short films as finalists for the annual GIFF event.
Come out and join us for a fun event as we have been approved to show the top selected finalists for the Geocaching International Film Festival, a series of short movies that will make you laugh and have fun as you see what media-minded creative geocachers have produced for this year's GIFF!
You will be able to view all of the short films in a fun, informal atmosphere, and we will also have fun activities to give us all a great time. We'll have a game, activity, and everyone in attendance will be able to vote for their favorite movie! And you might even learn more about geocaching too!
