Lonely caches are fascinating! They are usually caches that have tough Terrain ratings, difficult puzzles, or require special equipment to access. If you take a look at some of the caches in your general area, chances are you will find one or more that are lonely!
What are lonely caches (Our Definition): Lonlely caches are defined as caches that have had no visit in the past 365 days. Found it, Owner Maintenance and Write Notes that mention finding the cache count as visits. DNFs & Write Notes that do not mention finding the container do not count as a visit.
If you talk to someon else, they will likely have thier own definition of what a lonely cache is.
We've recently become more interested in finding lonely caches. There are quite a few older and grandfathered Challenge Caches that require finding lonely caches.

After the event, we will be making an optional excursion to GC2NA3M & GC383Q6. Please plan on carpooling from the event to the parking area for the caches as parking is very sparse near the caches. Wear good clothing as it's likely to be wet and/or muddy. Remember to bring the necessary TOTTs such as clippers, gloves, and machetes.
