Este sítio cresceu ao longo do velho caminho que ligava Angra às zonas rurais. Durante décadas, aqui havia quintas e hortas que alimentavam famílias, muros de pedra basáltica e ruas estreitas onde todos se conheciam.
Hoje ainda se sente o ambiente tranquilo e a história de um lugar que se manteve rural apesar de estar tão perto da cidade.
O “tesouro” está escondido aqui por ser um recanto simples mas cheio de memória. Procura com cuidado, respeita os espaços privados e volta a deixar tudo bem camuflado.
Welcome to Cantinho, one of the oldest places in the parish of São Mateus da Calheta.
This spot grew along the old road that once connected Angra to the rural areas. For decades, there were farms and vegetable gardens here that fed families, basalt stone walls, and narrow streets where everyone knew each other.
Today you can still feel the peaceful atmosphere and the history of a place that has remained rural despite being so close to the city.
