Join us as we celebrate 25 years of geocaching with the return of the Geocaching International Film Festival!
📽️ This year’s theme: “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!”
See how the community has turned geocaching into an art form, by attending a 2025 GIFF Event you will receive the official GIFF 2025 digital souvenir.
You are cordially invited to attend the matinee event which will take place:
on Sunday 9th November 2025 from 14:30hrs (2:30pm) to 16:45hrs (4:45pm). All times are approximate.
in the Tesco Extra - Training Room, 24 Downshire Rd, Carneyhough Court, Newry BT34 1EE
(Make yourself known at the Customer Service desk for the Geocaching Event, you will be asked to sign their visitors book for Health and Safety reasons).
There should be ample car parking available.
Please place a Will Attend on the event listing, so that we have an idea of how many seats will be required.
The event schedule:
14:30hrs (2:30pm) – log your attendance, geo-chatting, TB discovery/exchange, etc.
15:00hrs (3:00pm) - commence screening of the films.
16:15hrs (4:15pm) – approximate end of screening when we can share our impressions and continue geo-chatting.
16:45hrs (4:45pm) - end of the event with group photographs.
