HNY26 - Poker Run

This was so much fun the last 2 years we are doing it again.
We will all meet to take part in a geocaching Poker Run. Containers will be hidden for you to find that contain playing cards that are in sealed envelopes. These containers will be hidden in different parks so you will need a cache-mobile to get to them all.
This year we will be hiding other caches in each park for you to find along with the poker run caches.
****The event location is an outdoor venue so please dress for the weather. I will try to have donuts and hot chocolate. ****
How it will work:
Each container will have 52 playing cars that are in sealed envelopes.
Each cacher will visit each container and retrieve one envelope. Example: One cacher gets one envelope
You will have approximately 5 days to find the containers and get one envelope from each.
On January 1, 2026, you will bring your un-opened envelopes to the HN26 event GCBDEMX.
When you turn your cards in at the HNY26 event you will choose your best five cards for your poker hand.
There will be more than 5 containers. You can choose to visit all the containers or just 5 of them.
Each container will contain cards that are numbered for that container. Your hand will need to consist of envelopes with different numbers on them (1-6 etc.). If you have two envelopes with the same number they will not be allowed to be used.
There will be 10 winners for the Poker Run. Each of the poker run winners will receive and extra raffle ticket at the HNY26 event for the door prize raffle.
There are only 52 cards in each container. Please post you will attend so I know if I will need to add more cards. If more than 52 Cachers sign up before December 20 I will add more playing cards to each container.
