Another gem of a trail in the Alberni Valley Community Forest.
This is on a well marked off shoot of the Teodoro Trail.
Hike can be incorporated into a longer 6km or so loop, or if you study the satilite images, you will see where the Teodoro interects the road, and it will only be 2km return.
Either way you get spectacular views of Sproat Lake and can visit a small, hopefully cougar free cave.
Cache is hiden of the back of the bluff, 5 feet from the base of the twin arbutus trunks, at chest level on a rock shelf.
