Geocache Description:

“BF?  Who’s that?”

“I don’t know, some new cacher.  They keep publishing events at parks near me then cancelling.”

“How many finds?”

“42.”

“In my day you were supposed to hide a 100 before publishing one.  Has he or she published any other hides?”

“Not until today.”

“Where is it?”

“Past Dekalb.  I’d go but I have other plans.”

“Anyone find it yet?”

“No.”

“Huh, interesting…”

I on the other hand had no plans so, seeing that no one had found it yet, decided to make the 40 minute drive out.  It was in a forest preserve I hadn’t been to before.  I wish I had left 10 minutes earlier and I would have had more sunlight.  No flashlight in the car either.  I’ll just use my phone’s light.

When I got the gravel parking area, there was some light when out in the open, but not much once I found a path that seemed to lead to GZ.

The cache itself wasn’t hard to spot.  The hint didn’t fit though, that’s definitely above head high.  Stepping on a low branch to barely reach it I heard something big running from the woods towards me.

That’s when I saw him.  Bigfoot!  He was lumbering towards me, carrying some large object made out of branches and rope.  He made a satisfied grunt as he pulled me to the ground and placed the cage-like contraption over me.

[LOG] If anyone is reading this please send help.  I have been trapped by Bigfoot with a travel bug trackable firmly attached to my jeans.  He seems harmless but does NOT get how this game works!
