Geocaching International Film Festival has RETURNED!!

The geocaching community is full of storytellers, filmmakers, and artists of all types. The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) is an opportunity for these geocachers to share their cinematic creations with the world—and we’d love for you to join us!

📅 Date: November 15th, 2025
 🕑 Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
2-2:30 - Arrive & mingle (Get a snack if wanted on your dime, but not mandadory)
2:30 - 3:30 - Film screening 
3:30 - 4:00 - Post-film mingle
 📍 Location: Showboat Stadium 6 - 416 Main St, Polson, MT 59860

This year's GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!” In honor of 25 years of geocaching, this year’s films celebrate the moments, friendships, and adventures that make our game so meaningful.

Whether you love comedies, dramas, or sci-fi adventures, you’ll laugh, cry, and sit on the edge of your seat as these stories bring geocaching to life on the big screen.

If that weren’t enough, GIFF attendees can vote for their favorite films and earn the exclusive 2025 GIFF souvenir.

This year’s GIFF has been nothing short of inspiring. More than 60 filmmakers from 21 countries submitted their work to the 11th biennial festival, offering an incredible array of voices, ideas, and creativity. After much deliberation, the judges selected 20 finalist films that shine for their originality, production quality, and their contribution to the global geocaching community.
