<SK>RÍMSKOKATOLÍCKY KOSTOL SV. MATÚŠA V PARTIZÁNSKEJ L'UPČI
na námestí postavili Ľupčania v poslednej tretine 13. storočia. V polovici 16. storočia mal patrocínium sv. Stanislava, teraz má patrocínium sv. Matúša. Podľa starej Ľupčianskej kroniky sa ľupčianska farnosť oddelila od michalskej a tým sa osamostatnila v roku 1293. Podľa oficiálnych údajov ľupčianska farnosť jestvovala už roku 1294. Ako prvý ľupčiansky farár sa v listinách z rokov 1294 a 1297 spomína Šalamún. Hospodársku prosperitu Ľupče a vzrast počtu jej obyvateľov dosvedčuje rozšírenie farského kostola o druhú loď roku 1320. Od tých čias má svätyňa gotickú krížovú rebrovú klenbu. Železné kované dvere do sakristie sú pôvodné. Pre hroziace turecké nebezpečenstvo v 16. storočí vybudovali okolo kostola ochranný pevnostný múr so strelnými otvormi a prestavali vežu. V 18. storočí dostala terajšiu barokovú podobu. Rád františkánov nenašiel v Ľupči v 13. storočí vhodné podmienky na svoju činnosť, preto si tu nevybudoval svoje sídlo. Nepriame doklady však naznačujú, že okolo roku 1500 jestvoval v Ľupči alebo pri Ľupči (azda na hradisku) františkánsky kostol.
<ENG>ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ST. MATTHEW IN PARTIZANSKA LUPČA
The Ľupča people built it on the square in the last third of the 13th century. In the middle of the 16th century it had the patronage of St. Stanislav, now it has the patronage of St. Matthew. According to the old Ľupča chronicle, the Ľupča parish separated from the Michael parish and thus became independent in 1293. According to official data, the Ľupča parish already existed in 1294. Šalamun is mentioned as the first Ľupča parish priest in documents from 1294 and 1297. The economic prosperity of Ľupča and the increase in the number of its inhabitants are evidenced by the expansion of the parish church with a second nave in 1320. Since then, the sanctuary has had a Gothic cross rib vault. The iron-wrought doors to the sacristy are original. Due to the looming Turkish danger in the 16th century, a protective fortress wall with loopholes was built around the church and the tower was rebuilt. In the 18th century it received its current Baroque form. The Franciscan order did not find suitable conditions for its activities in Ľupča in the 13th century, so it did not build its headquarters here. However, indirect evidence indicates that around 1500 there was a Franciscan church in or near Ľupča (perhaps on the hillfort).

<SK>HISTÓRIA VYROVNÁVACEJ PAMÄTE
Počiatky BrEmRo siahajú do Partizánskej Ľupce. Hoci teraz žijeme vo Švajčiarsku, pravidelne navštevujeme naše rodné mesto. Keďže hustota Caches je tu veľmi nízka, rozhodli sme sa umiestniť Cache v Ľupci. Tento kostol má zaujímavú históriu a často sme ho navštevovali. Sme radi, že vám môžeme predstaviť našu obec Partizánska Ľupca a tu jeden z našich štyroch kostolov. Tešíme sa na vaše záznamy v denníku a možno aj na jednu či dve fotografie.

The origins of BrEmRo lie in Partizánska Ľupca. Although we now live in Switzerland, we visit our hometown regularly. Since the cache density here is very low, we decided to place a cache in Ľupca. This church has an interesting history, and we have visited it often. We are pleased to introduce you to our village of Partizánska Ľupca and, here, one of our four churches. We look forward to your diary entries and perhaps a photo or two.

<SK>Táto keška vo Švajčiarsku je naša tretia skrytá keška. BrEmRo je zo Slovenska, ale zameriavame sa najmä na Švajčiarsko. Napriek tomu navštevujeme Slovensko niekoľkokrát do roka. Preto sme sa rozhodli túto kešku zverejniť ako partnerstvo. Ukazuje našu trasu a rozdiely medzi katolíckymi kostolmi v Rothriste a Partizánskej Ľupci. Tieto dva kostoly sú úplne odlišné, ale radi ich navštevujeme.

<ENG>This cache in Switzerland is our third hidden cache. BrEmRo is from Slovakia, but we mainly focus on Switzerland. Nevertheless, we visit Slovakia several times a year. Therefore, we decided to publish this cache as a partnership. It shows our route and the differences between the Catholic churches in Rothrist and Partizánska Ľupec. These two churches are completely different, but we enjoy visiting them.
The cache is small, BYOP. Beware of muggles.
