To qualify for this cache, you need to have found caches in enough US States, not including Alaska, to match the total square miles of Alaska: 570,640.95. This means that if you have found caches in Oregon (95,988.01), California (155,779.22), and Washington (66,455.52), you'd have 318,222.75 and would NOT qualify. You'd need to find at least one more state (Texas) to qualify.
Credit for this idea goes to GC9NW86 who describes it like this:
- Challenge to find caches in States, Territories & Districts. A find is worth the combined area of the legal entity.
- A find in Oregon is worth 95,988.01 sq. miles, while a find in Guam is worth 209.80 sq. miles
- To qualify you need an area equal to greater than the of the combined area of Alaska, which is 570,640.95.
- This can be done in as few as 4 states
