Geocache Description:

very quick find hopefully, read hint as it should give it away with the title. The geocache is a micro container with the logbook only. It is magnetic btw ENJOY!!!  :)

History:  Māngere Mountain, or "Te Pane o Mataoho", is one of Auckland’s largest and best-preserved volcanic cones. It erupted about 70,000 years ago and has two craters. The mountain was an important Māori pā (fortified village) and a place of deep cultural and spiritual meaning. Its name connects to Mataoho, a deity said to have shaped many of Auckland’s volcanic features.
